What kind of vehicle is my car transported in?
Your car can be transported in a late-model open or enclosed car carrier. This is the type of vehicle that is typically used by car manufacturers to deliver new cars to dealerships. Parkway Auto Transport owns a fleet of car carriers that are meticulously maintained and driven by experienced, professional drivers.

What can I transport in my car?
Nothing can be transported in the passenger compartment of the vehicle (front and back seats) or in the open bed of a pick-up truck. Cars with personal items in the interior will not be loaded. Our primary goal is the safe delivery of you car however, your trunk can be filled with items that do not exceed 200 lbs. These items must be loaded by you and are not covered for damage or theft. Naturally it is forbidden to transport any illegal, flammable or similar hazardous materials

How does the insurance work?
All Parkway Auto Transport carriers are government licensed and insured at no additional cost to you.

How do I pay for Parkway Auto Transport services?
Parkway Auto Transport accepts all major credit cards, money orders, or certified checks. Your shipping charges must be paid in full before transport. This helps us keep our costs down and ensures you the best price available.

Will I be kept informed of the location of my vehicle along its route?
For the safety of the driver and other drivers along the way, the Department Of Transportation requests that all auto transport companies limit the calls to drivers. You will, however, be notified within a reasonable time of your car’s delivery.

How do I prepare my car for transport?
Your car must be in good working condition. It should start, run, drive and stop safely. Vehicles also must not have more than a quarter tank of gas. It is also a good idea to clean out the passenger compartments and carefully pack your trunk, if you will be storing anything in it. Remember not to exceed 200lbs, or car will not be loaded.
